How to disable plugins from file manager?

Why do you need to disable your plugin ?

Sometimes you face some issue related to your login in WordPress admin dashboard, at that time you should disable your security plugins.

If ever your website shows error 500 (Internal Server Error) or any other serious issue and you think you can solve that problem by disabling your plugins and you are unable to log in to your WordPress admin dashboard, then you can disable all plugins in file manager

 

How to disable plugins from file manager?

Follow the below steps to disable plugins from file manager.

Step 1. Log into your cPanel .

Step 2. Scroll down and go to File section or just search “File Manager” in search box .

Step 3. Click on “File Manager”

 

Step 4. Click on “public_html”

Step 5. Click on “wp_contant”

Step 6.If you want to disable all plugins ,just rename the “plugins” folder and remember the new  name, because  when you want to enable all plugins back you need to rename  that folder back to “plugins”.

Step 7. If you want to disable a specific plugin ,than click on plugin . select that specific plugin and rename it. Remember the new and old name because  when you want to enable that specific plugin back you need to rename  that folder back to it’s previous name.
